2024 COLOUR TRENDS
We've taken a look at four global industry leaders to see their pick for the top 2024 colours. Check out what Pantone, ISPO, WGSN and Coloro have chosen as their 2024 Colour of the Year and why.
PANTONE’S PEACH FUZZ 13-1023
In a clear response to the growing global need for a return to a more natural world in the face of the sudden rise of AI and continuing digital fatigue, Pantone “chose a colour radiant with warmth and modern elegance”. They want it to echo a tactile experience and communicate a sense of compassion.
Their imagery for this colour is all softness and movement that engages the viewer to lean in and feel its nostalgic warmth. It aligns with the 2024 graphic design trend of creating a tactile and gentle experience that reconnects us to nature.
ISPO’s PALETTES
ISPO don’t choose one colour, they select palettes. Although they choose these from the fashion and textile industries, we’ve included them here because marketing colour trends normally follow fashion, so you can get a jump start on what’s looking hot right through 2024 and into 2025.
Their predictions are for primary colours for an organic feel (Core Palette), flowy transparent colours (Fleeting), the natural colours of the beach (Soul Surf), the colours of natural and eco-sensitive dyes (Natural Logic), and colours that shimmer in the sun (Tantalize).
All of these palettes also head us towards a tactile and natural experience.

WGSN and COLORO
Like ISPO, WGSN and Coloro look further ahead for their trend predictions and have chosen five colours for 2025 / 2026 that are all about the global response to climate change and uncertainty. They say their Acceleration colours reflect the “urgency, repair and reassurance [that] will be necessities in this new reality”.
Their pick for the Colour of the Year is Future Dusk (129-35-18), a blue/purple that suggests mystery, escapism, and future promise. The other colours in their collection are:
Celestial Yellow has a spiritual, glowing, slightly surreal feel.
Cherry Lacquer is their take on a seductive, decadent colour that hits a rebellious nerve.
Retro Blue is nostalgic, warm and innocent.
Neon Flare is an AI-generated alarm red with warm undertones to stimulate and connect us.
They’re putting high hopes on these colours to inspire us in a changing and uncertain world. See them all here and read their ideas for the emotions they intend them to trigger.
DULUX
And here’s one more from Dulux. Although not as high an influence on marketing products, it’s worth seeing what they’ve chosen and why to get a feel for the zeitgeist. Once again, a leading colour expert has gone with a colour that makes you happy and prompts a sense of comfort. Sweet Embrace and its three complementary colours were chosen to create a nurturing physical space and positivity.
You can see it here along with its complementary palettes.
